How to prevent bubbles in dough while baking?

How can I keep my pizzas from forming large bubbles during the baking process? I don't mind a couple, but too many and it doesn't look good.

What causes this to happen?

If this is happening, there's a very good chance your dough is too cold. Try leaving it out for a couple of hours. If you have an instant read thermometer, check your dough temp. It should be around 65F.

If your dough isn't properly fermented, you could end up with bubbles.
