Hi, I'm considering buying an immersion blender, but before I do, I have a question about using it in canned tomatoes.
I've been told that the seeds in canned tomatoes can be broken open when using an immersion blender, and that if the seeds get broken open, they can cause the sauce to become bitter.
Has anyone experienced this problem? If so, is there any way to reverse the bitterness? Maybe add some other ingredient to neutralize the bitterness?
