t was not a kit. It cost about $2000 to build and way more time and work that I could imagine. It does get hot as hell and its stays hot. I know that most modular kits have heat issues. I'm happy with the result but would change a few things for sure. I wanted the dome height to be 18 inches and it ended up 20 inches. It's on a trailer as an attempt to get a business started. I will post some more pics as I make progress. Thanks!

Steve, did you need to use a screen or anything to keep the bottom from getting too charred?

No screens!!!!! At first I actually had a problem with the bottom not cooking and the top cooking too fast. The bricks are now seasoned well and the I figured out how to fire it right.
