Sauce alternatives!

Hi everyone,
I'm fairly new to (proper) pizza making and so far I have been trying out different tomato sauces...but I'd like to try different non-tomato based pizzas too. Would anyone have any good suggestions for sauce/ flavouring alternatives please?

Heavy cream, aka panna, is a very nice alternative. Pestos are a popular choice as well. For simple white pies, even a high quality olive oil is a fantastic choice.

It all depends on what ingredients you have on hand.
You may want to get a copy of the culinary text titled..."The Flavor Bible."
That should help.
Say I had a bottle of BBQ Sauce, chicken, and bacon. USE THE BBQ SAUCE!
You could cook the chicken in it, then put the chicken on the surface of the pizza dough. With a small layer of the BBQ sauce.
Use what's in the kitchen...AND YOUR IMAGINATION!
