Tomatoes sauces recommendation

Hi

I'm from Puerto Rico and most of the recommended tomatoes sauces are not sold here. Most of the things I have got so far for the pizza journey are bought online. Almost all online stores I have checked for the popular brands mentioned here for tomatoes sauces don't ship to Puerto Rico. I also checked Amazon but the 6 in 1, or Dinapoli I have found also don't ship to Puerto Rico.

Any recommendations for other brands.

By the way, sorry if you can't understand my English, is not my first language.

Hi Felix, any chance you could mention the brands available? We can help you choose a brand based on what's available.

Here in Puerto Rico, there is no chance to get any good brand since in super markets , the only thing they sell are local brands even walmart only sell only a few things. Looking at amazon so far the only thing I have found that is mentioned on this site, is Sclafani Crushed Tomatoes. Don't know if that could be enough. I also saw Contadina tomatoes paste. I was able to buy baking steel online don't know why is so difficult to get good tomatoes sauce.

I haven't tried sclafani personally, but I believe it's a decent brand. Definitely worth trying. I'm not too impressed with the sauces and pastes by contadina.

Thanks for replying to be honest I haven't check for a tomato paste as much as I did with ground one. What paste you recommend to see if I can search for a place that ship to PR.

Gladly I was able to buy the flour from the store here. And I make the mozzarella myself so far only need quality sauces.

Paste might be easier to find. I really like Mutti and Cento. It will likely be easier to get the paste shipped since the packages are smaller and lighter. Good luck.

Sclafanis are excellent tomoatoes. Make sure they are the ones coming from New Jersey, though.

You can also get them on Amazon...12 for roughly 30 bucks.
