Too much yeast in poolish


I had a brain freeze when making my starters and put in double the amount of ADY. One tiga and the other a poolish. Are they salvageable?

Timingwise, it's probably a little bit late by now, but I was going to suggest adding double the flour and water to increase the batch size. You could also just reduce the fermentation time.

Thanks...I watched it closely and just reduced the fermentation time. They went together good and are proofing nicely in the fridge. Can't wait to bake them on a new steel I just purchased.
