Aside from the plain old white button mushrooms, what other kinda of mushrooms go well on pizzas? I've also tried creminis. I'm more interested in finding out about the more exotic varieties.
I'm a big fan of chanterelles and porcinis. They're a bit pricey, but very tasty in my opinion. I've also had good luck with oyster mushrooms.
It's personal preference, but I tend to avoid Matsutake and Shiitakes when it comes to pizza.
